These commitments explain what we document, how changes are agreed, what Alp Medical Travel is responsible for and how we stay involved afterwards.
Based on the photos, X-rays and information you provide, the dental team can prepare an initial treatment plan. Before travelling, Alp Medical Travel sends you the proposed treatment, proposed package price, what is included and excluded, the expected stay and any important limitations.
Remote planning is not a final diagnosis. Your dentist confirms the clinical plan after examining you in person.
If your dentist recommends a different treatment after the examination, the dental team explains the clinical reason and discusses the revised plan with you. You are shown the revised price and, where relevant, any change to the expected stay or visit schedule.
Changed treatment proceeds only after your written approval.
Alp Medical Travel coordinates the arrangements we agree with you, including clinic communication, appointments, hotel and transfers where included.
If we get an arrangement wrong, we put it right rather than sending you elsewhere to solve it.
Alp Medical Travel stays with your case for 12 months after you return home. If you have a question or treatment concern, you can contact us without starting again from zero.
Where clinical input is needed, we coordinate the question with the treating clinic and follow its response. Clinical advice and care remain with the treating dental team.
If you have a treatment concern, a clinic warranty question or a potentially insured complication, Alp Medical Travel does not simply send you back to the clinic and step away. We stay involved in coordinating the next steps, relevant documents and communication with Maki Dent or the insurer where applicable.
Maki Dent provides an initial clinical response within a maximum of 24 hours. This is the initial response, not a final diagnosis or resolution, and any insurance decision remains with the insurer.
Maki Dent’s dentists are responsible for your examination, diagnosis, treatment plan, clinical decisions, treatment and clinical response to treatment concerns. Maki Dent is also the seller of the programme shown in your quotation.
Alp Medical Travel coordinates communication with the clinic, appointments, hotel, transfers and the practical patient journey. We also provide a direct communication route to Maki Dent when follow-up is needed.
Where complication insurance applies, Maki Dent arranges it and Alp Medical Travel checks the policy details before you travel. Coverage varies depending on the treatment and policy.
Coverage & ClaimsThe policy details are made available before you travel so you can review what is and is not covered. Some policies may include specified corrective-treatment, travel or accommodation costs, but these costs are not automatically covered. The insurer assesses each claim and decides whether it falls within the policy.
