Do you avoid smiling for photos? Or when you do smile, do you make sure that your mouth is clamped shut to hide missing teeth? If you want to regain your confidence by replacing missing teeth, if you’re struggling to eat food because it is difficult to chew or if you want a long-term solution to using dentures, then dental implants might be the best solution for you.

What is a dental implant?

A dental implant is made up of two components – the crown, which sits above the gum and is designed to look like a natural tooth and the root that sits beneath it.

Firstly, a titanium screw is placed into the jawbone and the purpose is to replace the missing root. The bone that is around the implant will eventually fuse to it. The second part of the process involves putting the crown (which is a false tooth matching the look of your current teeth) on top of the implant.

If you wish to get your teeth whitened at the same time, this is something we facilitate and we can also ensure that the new crown matches your whitened teeth perfectly.

Prices

At Alp Medical Dental, our dental implant treatment prices start from £XXX. As each case is individual, we will not be able to quote you an exact price until you have spoken to one of our experienced team and your teeth have been assessed. We want to make sure that the price we quote is accurate.

After your free consultation, you will be provided with a plan of treatment and a clear explanation of the costs and exactly what you will be paying for and when. If you have any questions following your consultation or wish to discuss things further, a member of our team will be available 7 days a week to assist you.

Single or Multiple Implants

Single implants could be the ideal solution for a missing tooth. It will provide you with a natural-looking, long-term solution. As we stress to all our patients, the colour of the crown cannot be whitened once the colour has been chosen. Therefore, if you wish to whiten your teeth, we can offer you this treatment prior and then provide you with a crown that matches your new teeth colour.

We can also provide you with multiple implants if you are missing several teeth. However, if you have missing teeth in a row, then a dental bridge might be the best solution for you.

At Alp Medical Dental, we also offer a “smile in a day” treatment. This treatment is tailored for patients who have loose, rotten or missing teeth with a full set of dental.

Implant Suitability

Unfortunately, as much as we would like to help everyone gain their smile and confidence, some people will be unsuitable for dental implant treatment. This is something that will be discussed at your consultation and our expert will explain clearly why this is the case and whether there are any other treatment options available to help improve the overall look of your smile. We pride ourselves on offering safe, evidence-based treatment, therefore your health and well-being is of paramount importance to us and the number one priority.
